Playing hard in the summer!

 Parker and I have moved in to our new little home and we are
slowly getting adjusted and find it quite cozy. Not to mention it is helping us save faster for a house and we have a personal chef upstairs! haha  I really want to do a recap on our AMAZING summer but I can't find my camera. GO FIGURE! I will be looking! I do have some mobile pictures though haha

Here's our summer 2011... Parker and I took a lot of cute little walks at night. My favorite walk of the summer happened to be near " our dock" where he proposed. We were walking and saying our favorite memories of our dating and marriage life so far and than BAM fireworks!!! It wasn't planned and fireworks happen to be my favorite thing and it happen to make our walk very romantic. HA!
We were able to do spend time with our friends and family. We were lucky enough to be able to go on two trips to Bear Lake. The first trip we made were with The cute Hanson's and Matthews. I have been friends with Gabs and Mor for a long time and I love our time together. We were able to spend time at the Hanson's cabin in Bear Lake. It was so much fun to just spend time on the lake, play games, catch up and relax.
The second Bear Lake trip we took was with my Dad and my Step mom Tammie. Parker took that entire week off and we were able to go with just Tammie on Wednesday. Some of you may know I haven't had the strongest relationship with my Dad or Tammie so this was much needed. My Dad came on Thursday and we all went to dinner. This was by far the best night of the trip. It was so great to spend some time with them and realize how much we need them in our lives. We also had a very unexpected spiritual experience up there. It made my testimony grow and made me thankful that the spirit can always be with us.
Austin, Mason and his girlfriend Lindsey came up for the weekend. We had so much fun boating, playing games, telling ghost stories and of course making memories. I am very thankful for the time I was able to be up there with my awesome family.
The night we got back from Bear Lake I got an unexpected phone call from the family that I nanny for, their neighbors. Ericka wanted me to start nannying her 9 month old baby on the days I don't nanny for the Love family! What a huge blessing that was for Parker and I.
 Parker and I were also able to celebrate our 2 year dating anniversary in Park City for the day! We went to dinner and just enjoyed each other's company! Parker also bought me a Coach purse. I have to tell you I have been wanting a Coach purse FOREVER. Now some of you may think wow really they are pretty affordable, however I have never been able to talk myself into spending that much on myself for a purse. But we got a great deal and with a lot of persuasion Parker was able to talking me into getting me one! :)
Parker and I have had an incredible summer this year. I know this is super cheesy but my favorite part about this summer is just being with Parker. He makes me so happy and I SERIOUSLY AM FALLING MORE IN LOVE WITH HIM each day! I know very cliche but honestly it is the truth. I am finding more peace in the changes that keep coming our way. We are blessed and I am thankful for the fun adventures we had this summer.

Our four year wedding anniversary is coming up and because of that our marriage has been on my mind. As I have gone back to work full time I often wonder what I miss with Jagger during those 6-10 hour days. The days used to be our special time to learn, go on adventures and just spend time with one another. Now we try to cram those special moments at night and on the weekends. It's so difficult to be away from him but I am full of gratitude that our bond has stayed intact and that he is so well taken care of by my mom and Jeff.  I feel like I need to document the small things about Jagger because eventually those will be the big things as I look back on them. I love this quote and it pretty much sums up how I feel about my babe... “Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognize how good things really are.” Jagger is such a social butterfly and has no fear of being himself and showing himself to the world. Passenger Seat

Autopilot.... My life feels like it is continuing to move and I am in the passenger seat praying that I don't get hit and hoping I can just coast. It's that checked out feeling and being aware of it but not knowing if you really want to be in the driver seat because you may end up just crashing. It's difficult knowing which one is better right now and maybe it's about recognizing that whether you're the passenger or the driver if you get in an accident you get hurt regardless.      It's interesting how tricky our brain can be about giving us a false sense of hope and to be quite honest, I am surprised my brain still seeks out hope. I heard once that "hope is a discipline" and I'm not sure I have that discipline right now. It's confusing and there's a lot of uncertainty right now in this unpredictable world, fear based motives and personal turmoil as humans.
