Thoughts on a Monday...

Well obviously there is a lot going on in my life and at times it is a bit overwhelming. So here are some thoughts for a Monday! ·I have been very very sick for the past 6 days. The worse pain I have ever felt. Ulcer.I.hate.you! ·One good thing about being sick? I lost 3lbs!  Haha Now I am down a total of 14lbs. Yay! ·We bought my childhood home, how fun is that? ·It is so much work but so worth it. ·On that subject, Parker is the man! He has done so much work and has saved us thousands $$$$! Amazing job babe! ·I am amazed but not surprised how much my family has helped. There is always at least one family member over every time we are working on it. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. <3 · Going to school while renovating is truly a perfect storm waiting to happen. Enough said. ·Although there has been a lot of stress, I feel so incredibly blessed! ·I feel like we are making the right choices in our lives. Things have b...

3rd Wedding Anniversary <3

Well, lately life has been so fast pace! This summer flew by and I forgot to blog about our wedding anniversary! Parker and I had our 3 year wedding anniversary! I can't believe how fast it has gone. I still remember our wedding day perfectly. I will never forget being late to the temple..... [totally my Mom's fault] haha Walking down the hall with my wedding dress on, and seeing Parker's face for the first time as my husband! I will never forget the feeling of being on cloud nine for the entire day. It truly was the best day of my life! I feel so blessed to have married such an incredible person. He is everything I didn't know that I needed. He is absolutely perfect for me! The last two anniversaries I planned and they were really fun! However Parker took the gold this year! He planned a little get a way for just the two of us! I had no idea where we were going but I was excited! I went to go get my hair done and then we headed out. We were driving and probably an ...

Dominican Republic! Breathe & Sing

I haven't updated in awhile so I thought I would start with my magical trip to the D.R! My Mom gave me the fabulous opportunity to go to the D.R with her in April for an all inclusive trip! I was a little hesitant at first because I was going to leave Parker behind. But my soul needed major repairing and I absolutely love traveling! I haven't used my passport since Europe so it was definitely time. I am one of those weird people that love flying. I love every minute and experience of traveling. So we flew to New York and had a 3 hour lay over. Oh my gosh I have been wanting to go to New York since I was 5. I only saw outside the window but it was still cool to say I was there! We got to the D.R and I was in awe! I have never been to an island before and I was freaking out! The airport was so awesome and they had people dancing and greeting us. It was so fun! We got to our resort and I thought we died and went to Heaven! It was gorgeous!!! So exotic and tropical! The people ...

Thinking Thursday!

Image
Haha I totally made that up by the way but I have thoughts that need to make it to "paper" Since this is basically my journal what better place? Here we go!!!! ~ I am amazed how quickly people can change... ~I believe whatever your stance on same sex marriage is we need to be kind, loving to all no matter what. I believe people are allowed to be happy with whatever they decide to do in their lives. I am not God therefore I do not need to judge. That is between them and their God. ~I am so happy to have Parker back. I was looking back on my other relationships in the past and I have realized Parker truly is my soul mate.  I couldn't picture my life with anyone else. I really think that it is a blessing to know the one you chose was the right choice! ~ As of this week I don't want children! Haha I am sure that will change. But going back to nannying I just couldn't imagine not getting a break or an end of the shift or for that matter the weekends haha People ca...

My missing puzzle pieces

Image
I have a few puzzle pieces in my life that I am missing. But I am thankful for those spaces because with space there is more room to grow. I first and foremost miss my other half of the puzzle, Parker . Parker is in Minnesota for a training for his work. This boy has worked his but off to get to this training. Parker is so deserving of this he makes me so proud! He strives every day to be the best he can be and my favorite part about this story is he gets to see the benefits of it. Sometimes in my life I feel like I work so hard and I don't get to see the results of my hard work. But Parker has made me see a different outcome. He has shown me if you stay consistent and you continue to do your best you will see results. I LOVE THAT STORY! Although I am so dang proud of this guy I sure miss him like crazy! Everyone has been asking me what are you going to do without your other half? Everyone knows we are like magnets if I am there he will be there and vice versa. We are always toge...

Happy Resolution.

Image
Well.... Last week I taught my 14&15 year old Sunday school class that they should pray about their new years resolutions, to let the holy ghost guide and comfort them through out the year. Practice what ya preach babe... So I did. I prayed and thought about my resolutions. In the past I had ridiculous goals..... Lose 40 pounds..exercise every single day....graduate school.....read scriptures every day..never miss tithing.... THIS YEAR IS DIFFERENT! It is simple... Be happy!   Yep that is it. If anyone knows me, they know I am the biggest perfectionist, I am my worse critic and this year I am just not doing it. I am going to do what makes me happy. Happy is: cuddling, being with Parker, monster, family, friends, doing my best, exercise, reading, eating healthy, praying, reading scriptures, living the simple life, meditation, chocolate, laughing, pedicures, going to school, paying off debt and saving money oh and vacations! :) Yes that is a lot but that's what makes me ha...
