Oh life!


Life has been so CRAZY! Parker and I are definitely in need of a looong break!!! We did go to St. George last weekend which was nice but I'm ready for a long break. :) so why is life busy? Well this is what is taking up our life...


•Work- of course! Parker has not only been working crazy busy hours but he has also been on call as well. It's great $$$ but less time with each other which isn't fun. But let's be honest, he loves his job. My work schedule is perfect for my class schedule and I still love it! I have the cutest kids and I'm super thankful for the families I work for. 

•School- This semester has been so demanding of my time and I literally have homework everyday! Luckily I graduate this semester! I am applying to the Drug Abuse Counseling program in July up at the U! Keep your fingers crossed! 

•Life- Once school and work is finished we are running around trying to do errands and making time for friends and family. 


• On top of everything I am also training for my first 5k! Yeah I am crazy to do it right before finals but my mom and I are determined to cross this off of our bucket! 

 Although our lives are crazy busy, I am so thankful for all we have been blessed with! There are some amazing things that have happened this year and some that are coming our way.

What's happened?!
• I payed off my baby blue {car}
• We went to Vegas for a trade show for Girls R Fanz 2 and had great success!
• Parker got a bonus and a raise should be coming soon. {cross fingers}
• I have lost 20 lbs and Parker has lost 15!

What's coming up?!
•I graduate! {finally}
• First 5k at the end of the month
•Lastly we are going to Cali for our 4th wedding anniversary!!! 

Yep life is good! I am so thankful! Oh one last thing? Have you met our baby Zen? He is the cutest pom-pug and the sweetest little guy. I am totally a sucker for him now and Monster has definitely warmed up to him. We love the baby!

Our four year wedding anniversary is coming up and because of that our marriage has been on my mind. As I have gone back to work full time I often wonder what I miss with Jagger during those 6-10 hour days. The days used to be our special time to learn, go on adventures and just spend time with one another. Now we try to cram those special moments at night and on the weekends. It's so difficult to be away from him but I am full of gratitude that our bond has stayed intact and that he is so well taken care of by my mom and Jeff.  I feel like I need to document the small things about Jagger because eventually those will be the big things as I look back on them. I love this quote and it pretty much sums up how I feel about my babe... “Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognize how good things really are.” Jagger is such a social butterfly and has no fear of being himself and showing himself to the world. Passenger Seat

Autopilot.... My life feels like it is continuing to move and I am in the passenger seat praying that I don't get hit and hoping I can just coast. It's that checked out feeling and being aware of it but not knowing if you really want to be in the driver seat because you may end up just crashing. It's difficult knowing which one is better right now and maybe it's about recognizing that whether you're the passenger or the driver if you get in an accident you get hurt regardless.      It's interesting how tricky our brain can be about giving us a false sense of hope and to be quite honest, I am surprised my brain still seeks out hope. I heard once that "hope is a discipline" and I'm not sure I have that discipline right now. It's confusing and there's a lot of uncertainty right now in this unpredictable world, fear based motives and personal turmoil as humans.
