October love!

October has been amazing so far! We have had two unexpected and great things that I couldn't have planned better for myself.
The first is Parker and I got called to teach Sunday school for the 14 and 15 years old! We are so excited to share this calling. I feel like a dork because ideas are constantly bouncing around and I can't wait to teach. I think Parker is going to add a lot to the class and I am so glad we are doing this together.
The second exciting blessing is I got a job!!! Holy cow! I literally applied to 30 jobs last Sunday {no exaggeration}I thought it would take awhile but the next morning I got a call from a dental office. I had an interview that day and immediately I knew I wanted the job! The hours are perfect... The manager is an absolute doll and it is a job that I am comfortable with. I had a working interview and that day she called and said I got the job! Seriously this was such a huge blessing! I couldn't have hand picked a better job. Heavenly Father was definitetly listening to all of my prayers.I know we are being watched over and cared for! 

Now some random thoughts that I can't stop thinking about...

·I need to really start doing service projects. Soup kitchen? Homeless packages? Yeah!

·Sometimes it hurts to know that you are helpless.

·I miss Mason... Haha

·How do you learn to forgive and let go?

·I am so blessed with amazing friends and families.

·I want to do a get away for a weekend with Parker. :)

    Congrats on the job!! That is so awesome. Also, did your bishop give you Teaching, A No Greater Call manual? If he didn't you should ask for it. When I was a RS teacher it was such an amazing resource.

As I have gone back to work full time I often wonder what I miss with Jagger during those 6-10 hour days. The days used to be our special time to learn, go on adventures and just spend time with one another. Now we try to cram those special moments at night and on the weekends. It's so difficult to be away from him but I am full of gratitude that our bond has stayed intact and that he is so well taken care of by my mom and Jeff.  I feel like I need to document the small things about Jagger because eventually those will be the big things as I look back on them. I love this quote and it pretty much sums up how I feel about my babe... “Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognize how good things really are.” Jagger is such a social butterfly and has no fear of being himself and showing himself to the world. Passenger Seat

Autopilot.... My life feels like it is continuing to move and I am in the passenger seat praying that I don't get hit and hoping I can just coast. It's that checked out feeling and being aware of it but not knowing if you really want to be in the driver seat because you may end up just crashing. It's difficult knowing which one is better right now and maybe it's about recognizing that whether you're the passenger or the driver if you get in an accident you get hurt regardless.      It's interesting how tricky our brain can be about giving us a false sense of hope and to be quite honest, I am surprised my brain still seeks out hope. I heard once that "hope is a discipline" and I'm not sure I have that discipline right now.
